Only those engaged in direct negotiation with people outside the domain of Christ! When the ‘whistle-blower’ (evangelist) is exposing the darkness and foolishness of this world and portraying the truth and wisdom of the alternative domain established by Christ – he or she will most likely need apologetics.
Those who evangelise need a confidence – in the Scriptures, in the testimony evidence offered for faith, in the biblical worldview, in their own experience of God, and in their understanding of alternative viewpoints.
Sadly, most people have no need for apologetics – because they don’t engage in evangelism.
Are you on thin ice in your understanding of the Christian worldview?
Do you feel at risk and ill-equipped to face the attacks of others with differing ideas? Then you need a good training in both communicating the gospel and handling the objections of others.
